When People Move Just One Bedroom
Moving a single bedroom set is a common request and differs from a full house move in truck size, crew and pricing. The cases we see most:
- Buying a used bedroom set: from an online listing or someone you know, dismantled at the seller’s home and assembled at yours.
- Moving a room to another house: for example a son’s or daughter’s room going to the family home or a new home after marriage.
- Swapping rooms inside the house: moving the bedroom from the ground floor upstairs or the other way.
- Sending a bedroom to another city: within the Eastern Province or beyond.
What a Bedroom Move Includes

Buying a Used Bedroom Set: Check First
How a used set is dismantled and moved affects how it stands after assembly. Particle board and MDF weaken each time they are taken apart and the screw holes can widen; solid wood copes better but is heavier. Before agreeing with the seller, send us photos of the wardrobe interior and hinges and we will tell you what we notice. Avoid letting the seller dismantle it without numbering parts, because mixed-up parts and screws are the main cause of assembly problems.
Tip: ask the seller whether the assembly manual or spare fittings still exist, and check your room size and ceiling height before buying; some wardrobes do not fit every room.
Sliding and Large Wardrobes
Sliding-door wardrobes need extra care: doors come off, top and bottom tracks are kept safe and re-levelled for the new floor. Very large wardrobes are split into units to pass through doors, lifts and stairs. For assembly in general see furniture assembly.
Children’s and Premium Bedrooms
Children’s rooms often include bunk beds, study desks and wall shelves with special fittings, which we bag and label separately and check for stability after assembly. Premium solid-wood bedrooms with carving or large mirrors get a soft inner layer and a protective outer layer, and large panels are carried by more hands rather than dragged. Fabric or leather headboards are covered so they are not marked during the move.
Within Your City or Between Cities
Moving a bedroom within Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Jubail or Qatif usually takes part of a day: dismantle, load, assemble. If it is going to another city, we add packing layers for the longer road. For larger long-distance moves see intercity movers in Saudi Arabia.
