The road from Khobar to Qassim
Khobar to Qassim is a trip of well over seven hundred kilometres, usually passing through Riyadh and then heading north-west toward Buraydah. That means a full day of loading, driving and unloading, and many hours of vibration for anything poorly wrapped. So we start with one question: which items cannot tolerate vibration? The route crosses open country, summer heat is intense, and winter nights in Qassim can be colder than in Khobar. That affects what you pack: candles, cosmetics, medicines and heat-sensitive food are better in your own car than in the truck, and houseplants may not survive a long closed trip. Winter clothes and blankets belong in clearly marked boxes near the door, because you may need them the first night.
