Starting in Qatif: houses and lanes
The biggest difference between a Qatif move and others is the loading. Older areas have narrow lanes that large trucks cannot enter, closely packed houses, tight internal stairs and sometimes old doors that big pieces will not pass. So we ask for a photo of the lane, door and stairs before booking, and decide whether to hand-carry to the nearest wide street or use a trolley.
Saihat, Tarut and Safwa
Each part of Qatif has its own road and truck arrival time: Saihat is on the main road with buildings and newer districts, Tarut is an island crossed by a causeway with old and new neighbourhoods, and Safwa has its own character and roads. Name the area precisely so we can fix the morning departure time.
The road to Qassim
Qatif to Qassim is roughly eight hundred kilometres, usually via Riyadh. It takes a full day or more with loading and unloading. So we double-wrap glass, mirrors and appliances and arrange the truck with heavy secured pieces at the bottom and fragile boxes away from movement.
Unloading in Buraydah, Unaizah and Ar Rass
Qassim homes are mostly ground-level houses or villas with doors wider than those of old Qatif, so wardrobes and beds go in more easily once dismantled. Some families move to a farm or rest house on the outskirts, so tell us if the last stretch is unpaved so we prepare the load for it. We coordinate arrival so unloading happens in daylight.
| Your situation | What we suggest |
|---|---|
| Old house on a narrow lane in Qatif | Hand-load to the wide street and take big furniture apart before carrying |
| Flat in Saihat to a house in Buraydah | Full packing and easy unloading since Qassim entrances are wider |
| Relocating for work in Qassim | See job relocation movers |
| Large majlis furniture | See majlis furniture movers |
Tip: measure the door and internal stairs at your new home before moving; some pieces may need dismantling first to get in.
