The route: a long inland drive

By road, Qassim sits roughly 750 to 950 km from Dammam, depending on which city you are heading to, where you start in the Eastern Province and the road taken. Most trips pass through or near Riyadh before heading north-west into Qassim. That makes it longer than a Dammam to Riyadh move, but shorter than the trips to the western region.

Buraidah, Unaizah or Ar Rass: why the exact pin matters

"Qassim" is a region, not an address. Buraidah, Unaizah and Ar Rass are separate cities with real driving distance between them. Some addresses are in newer residential schemes where street names are not yet clear, and others are farms or istirahas on the edge of town, reached by narrow or unpaved roads.

Typical materials: bubble wrap for glass and screens, strong cartons for kitchenware and clothes, stretch film against dust, and blankets for wooden surfaces and large appliances. Every wrapped item is numbered and marked with its room.

Appliances

We move fridges, washing machines and cookers wrapped and kept upright where possible. Disconnecting and reconnecting gas, AC units and water lines is not part of our service, so arrange a technician in the Eastern Province before loading day and another in Qassim after arrival. Empty and dry the fridge at least a day in advance.

Staged moves and storage in the Eastern Province

Families often relocate to Qassim for a new job or for study, and one person may go ahead while the rest follow later, or the new house may not be ready yet. In that case the move can be split:

1. Move the essentials first: bedrooms and kitchen.
2. Keep the rest wrapped and labelled in furniture storage in the Eastern Province.
3. Deliver the second load once the home is ready.
