The Road from the East to Madinah
The usual route runs through Riyadh and Qassim before turning towards Madinah, roughly 1,200 km or more depending on your starting city and your destination district. Your furniture will be on the road for many hours, so for a full household the truck rarely arrives on the same day it is loaded.

Districts and Buildings in Madinah
Unloading conditions depend heavily on where the home is, so we always ask for a map pin before quoting:
- Close to the Prophet's Mosque: dense, with hotels and commercial buildings, and truck access may be limited to certain times or roads. We confirm the access route and parking spot before the date.
- Residential districts further out: villas, apartments and residential blocks with easier truck access, though floor level and lift size still matter.
- New apartment blocks: some require a lift booking or the landlord's approval for the unloading time.
Not sure about the new building? Ask the landlord or guard for a photo of the entrance and lift and send it to us. It tells us more than any description.
Packing for a Thousand-Kilometre Trip
Constant highway vibration is the main risk on this route, followed by dust and heat. So we:
- Dismantle bedrooms, wardrobes and large pieces, bagging and labelling screws and fittings with each item.
- Cover wood with moving blankets, then stretch film, and protect corners and glossy surfaces.
- Give mirrors, glass and marble extra layers and transport them upright and secured.
- Fix appliances in stable positions in the truck with nothing loaded on top.
- Number cartons by room in the new home so unloading goes quickly.

From Madinah to the Eastern Province
When the move starts in Madinah, the crew arrives at the agreed time to dismantle, pack and load there. The load then travels to Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Jubail or Al Ahsa, where we unload and reassemble. Our advice: do not hand back your Madinah home before loading day, and confirm the Eastern Province home is ready before arrival.
