Scope of this page: practical steps if you notice a scratch or breakage after a move, and how to reduce the chance beforehand. For preparation see moving preparation checklist and moving inventory list.
Best of all: before loading
Most disputes come from no agreement on the condition of items before the move. Photograph important pieces before loading: sofas, tables, screens, mirrors and bedroom sets. If they have old scratches, tell the crew. And review with us which of your sensitive items need special wrapping.
At unloading: check before the crew leaves
As each item is unloaded, look at it and compare it with the photos. Remove covers right after unloading if you can, not days later. If damage appears, tell the crew lead at once, photograph the item from several angles and do not throw away the wrapping and parts before documenting.
Contact
Write to us on WhatsApp 0573505121 with a description of the item, the photos, the agreement details and the move date. We review the details with you and see what can be repaired or replaced as agreed. We explain things clearly and do not promise what was not agreed.
How to reduce damage
Choose suitable wrapping for sensitive pieces, dismantle what needs it instead of risking it going out whole, and tell us about any valuable or old item so we carry it carefully. See glass tables and mirrors and furniture assembly in Dammam.
