When this page is the right one
You live in Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran, Jubail or Al-Ahsa and you are relocating to the Al-Baha region, whether to Al-Baha city, Baljurashi, Al-Mandaq, Al-Aqiq or one of the surrounding villages. Or you are coming back to the Eastern Province after a job or studies in Al-Baha. Either way, this page explains how we plan the route.

The road: long distance, mountain finish
Dammam to Al-Baha is around 1,300 km or more depending on the route, usually via Riyadh and then south-west up into the Sarawat highlands. The last stretch climbs and winds, which is very different from the flat roads of the Eastern Province.
What that means for your furniture:
- Weight distribution: heavy items such as the fridge, washing machine and dismantled wardrobes go low and towards the front of the truck, lighter boxes on top, so the load stays stable on bends.
- Extra securing: more straps and spacers between items, because slopes make movement more likely.
- Realistic timing: we will not promise an arrival hour before we know the volume; you get an expected arrival day in writing.
Homes in Al-Baha: what we need to know
Many homes in Al-Baha and its towns are villas or standalone houses, some on sloping or narrow streets between villages. So before booking we ask:
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is the street steep or narrow at your door? | It decides the right truck size and where it can stop. |
| How far is the door from where the truck can park? | A long carry needs more hands and more time. |
| Are there narrow internal or external stairs? | Large pieces may need full dismantling before they go in. |
| Is the house in a village outside the city? | We plan the final approach and confirm the pin on the map. |
A map pin and a photo of the street entrance save a lot of time on unloading day.
A different climate at the other end
The Eastern Province is hot and humid most of the year; Al-Baha is milder, can be cold in winter and often sees fog and rain in some seasons. Wooden furniture and sofas react to humidity changes, so bring everything inside as soon as it is unloaded rather than leaving it in the yard. If it rains on arrival day, we take wrapped items to the nearest covered space first.
Packing and dismantling for the Al-Baha trip
Glass, mirrors and ornaments are wrapped layer by layer, appliances are boxed or covered with thick pads, and mattresses go into sealed bags. Beds and wardrobes are dismantled in the East with parts and screws labelled, then rebuilt in Al-Baha. See our furniture packing services and furniture assembly service for details.
Al-Baha to the Eastern Province
For the return trip we start with dismantling and packing in Al-Baha, dealing with the same street conditions, then drive to Dammam, Khobar or Al-Ahsa. If your new Eastern Province home is a flat, tell us the floor, whether there is a lift, and any building rules on lift times, as some buildings restrict moving hours.
Tips before moving a whole house to the south-west
- Start sorting early and do not move old furniture you plan to replace.
- Keep documents, gold, medication and a few days of clothes with you.
- Make sure power and water are connected in the Al-Baha house before arrival.
- Get the key handover date in writing before you fix the loading day.
We do not offer a crane, AC removal, electrical or plumbing work; everything moves through doors, stairs and lifts with dismantling where needed.
