Who is this page for?
This page is for households moving from the Eastern Province to Arar or other towns in the Northern Borders region such as Rafha, Turaif and Al-Uwayqilah, and for families heading the other way, back to Dammam, Khobar, Jubail or Al-Ahsa. Typical customers are employees transferred to the north, families returning to relatives after years in the Eastern Province, or northern families who have settled in Dammam or Jubail for work and need to bring a whole house across.

What makes the Arar route different?
The drive from Dammam to Arar is roughly a thousand kilometres or more. The usual route heads north through Hafar Al-Batin, then on to Rafha and Arar. It is a long, open highway with big gaps between towns, so we plan it as a full travel day for a loaded truck rather than a trip that can be squeezed into a few hours.
- Dust and wind: on an open desert road, packing has to be sealed on every side, especially for mattresses, fabric sofas and electronics.
- Northern winters: Arar is far colder than the Gulf coast in winter. Wooden furniture and appliances coming from humid coastal air react to the change, so unpack indoors rather than in the yard.
- Hours of vibration: every load is strapped and braced inside a closed truck so nothing shifts over a long distance.

Arriving in Arar: what we check before we leave
Homes in Arar are mostly villas, duplexes and traditional houses with courtyards, plus residential buildings in some districts. Before loading day we ask three things: can the truck park close to your door, is there a lift or a narrow internal staircase, and will the house be fully ready (power and keys) on arrival day?

Packing for a northern long-haul move
Distance plus dust means standard wrapping is not enough. Mattresses go into sealed bags, fabric sofas get a protective layer and then a moving blanket, TVs and appliances are boxed with corner guards, and glass and ornaments are wrapped piece by piece. Arar to the Eastern Province
We move in both directions. Coming back from Arar, Rafha or Turaif to Dammam, Khobar or Jubail, we handle dismantling and packing in the north, then unloading and reassembly in the East. It helps to know in advance whether your new place is a flat with a lift or a villa, as that sets crew size and unloading time.

Common long-distance mistakes
- Leaving the sorting until after arrival, so you pay to move things you will throw away.
- Packing official papers, gold or medication in boxes; keep them with you in your car.
- Not confirming the Arar home is handed over before the truck is loaded.
- Unplugging appliances without photographing the connections first.
What we do not offer on this route
We do not provide an external crane or hoist; everything goes through stairs and lifts, with dismantling where needed. AC removal, electrical work and plumbing are not part of our service, so book a local technician in Arar if you need one.
