Why Al Mubarraz needs its own moving plan
Al Mubarraz and Hofuf have grown into one urban area, so people often treat them as a single city. On moving day the difference shows up quickly. The central quarters have older, attached houses on narrow lanes. The outer schemes have detached villas and two-floor rentals with more furniture. Around them are palm farms, istirahas and rest houses reached by service roads. Each setting changes the truck size, the crew size and the way we reach your door.
So the first thing we ask is not just "how many rooms?" but "where exactly is the house, and what does the street look like?" A map pin and a few photos save time for everyone.
Home types in Al Mubarraz and what they mean for your move
Older houses in the central quarters
Parking right at the door may not be possible and inner doors and staircases are often narrower than a modern sofa or wardrobe. We may use a smaller truck, park at the nearest open spot and hand-carry, and we dismantle wardrobes and bed sets before taking them out. See moving from old houses on narrow streets.
Villas and floor rentals in newer schemes
More rooms usually means more furniture: a majlis, several bedrooms, a full kitchen and sometimes an annex. Upper-floor rentals often have an internal staircase and no elevator, so we size the crew and timing for that. For large homes we may suggest loading over two days.
Rest houses and farms on the outskirts
Access may be through gates or unpaved roads, and outdoor seating needs different wrapping. See rest house and chalet movers.

What we need from you before moving day
- Map pins for the current and new home, and the type of each (old house, floor, villa, apartment).
- The floor, whether there is an elevator, and roughly how wide the staircase is.
- A short list of large items: bed sets, wardrobes, sofas, fridge, washer, majlis seating.
- Whether you need dismantling and reassembly, and anything you plan to leave behind.
- Your preferred time. Early-morning starts help avoid midday heat in summer.
We do not use an external lifting crane. Large pieces are dismantled and carried through the stairs or door after we check the measurements, which is why photos and sizes help before the day.
Dismantling, packing and reassembly
Bed sets, wardrobes and large tables are dismantled at the old house, with screws and fittings bagged and labelled for each piece. Sofas are wrapped in plastic, glass and mirrors in foam and cardboard, and appliances fully covered. At the new home we reassemble and place each item in its room by label. See furniture assembly in Al Ahsa and furniture packing in Al Ahsa.
