Who is this route for?
This page is for households moving between the coastal cities of the Eastern Province and Al Ahsa: employees transferred to Hofuf or Mubarraz, families returning to a family home in one of the Al Ahsa villages, and people leaving Al Ahsa for an apartment in Dammam or Khobar. It also covers partial moves, such as sending a few rooms to a second home.

How this route differs from a local move
The road distance from Dammam to Hofuf is roughly 150 km on the highway that passes near Abqaiq. That is short compared with Riyadh or Jeddah, but long enough to change how we plan:
- Usually a single day. Apartments and mid-size homes can be loaded in the morning and unloaded and reassembled the same day. Large villas are often split over two days so assembly is not rushed.
- Different housing on each end. Dammam and Khobar have many apartment buildings, some without lifts. Al Ahsa has more standalone houses, villas with annexes and large majlis rooms; some village streets are narrow for big trucks.
- Heat and dust. The road is open desert. We start early in summer and wrap electronics and wood properly against dust.

Moving into Hofuf, Mubarraz or a village
Tell us exactly where you are going. Inside Hofuf or Mubarraz access is usually simple, but some villages need a plan for where the truck can stop. If an entrance is too tight, we send a smaller truck or split the load.

Moving from Al Ahsa to Dammam or Khobar
The common problem on the return trip is space. Pieces that suited a villa may not fit an apartment door or lift. What affects the price?
There is no fixed price for the route. The quote depends on the actual volume, how many pieces need disassembly and reassembly, the packing level, floors and lifts on both ends, whether the destination is in town or a remote village, and whether you need temporary storage.
