An east-to-west move: what to expect
The road distance from Al Ahsa to Jeddah is over 1,300 km, usually via Riyadh and then the highway towards Makkah and Jeddah. This is not a few-hours job, so planning is different from a move inside the Eastern Province:
- Delivery is usually the next day: we load on one day and deliver in Jeddah the following day in most cases, depending on loading time, volume and the driver's required rest stops.
- Full packing for surfaces and glass: many hours of vibration mean partial wrapping is not enough for delicate pieces.
- Receiving the load: since arrival time is an estimate, we agree in advance who will receive the furniture in Jeddah and call them before arrival.

Delivery in Jeddah: humidity and towers
- Humidity: Jeddah is far more humid than Al Ahsa. Never seal boxes over damp items, and open wrapping on wood and leather soon after arrival so it can breathe.
- High-rise buildings: many Jeddah homes are flats in towers. We need the floor number and lift size and will book the lift with the building watchman. We do not use external hoists.
- Truck access: some roads restrict truck movement at certain hours, and we factor that into the arrival estimate.
How to keep the cost down
- Sort your furniture and sell or donate what you do not need before the move. Less volume means less truck space.
- Box small items yourself if you like, and leave furniture, appliances and glass to us.
- Avoid the peak at the end of holidays and the start of the school year if you can.
- Send clear photos of each room so the quote is accurate from the start.
