Moving day has a rhythm you can plan
Many people treat moving day as an open-ended event, so it starts late, workers stand idle and everyone waits for a key or a lift. It is better to have a written timetable that everyone knows. We do not promise exact hours before the survey, but we build an order with you that reduces stoppages.
We do not claim to know every building and street in Badr. We ask for a map pin on WhatsApp and photos of the entrance, then ask only about things that change the timetable.
A suggested timetable for a flat move
- Before we arrive: fridge and washer empty, boxes closed and labelled by room, personal items set aside.
- On arrival: a short walk-through with the supervisor covering large and fragile pieces and anything to be dismantled.
- Wrapping and dismantling: start with beds and wardrobes, which take time, photographing them first.
- Loading: heavy pieces first at the bottom of the truck and lighter ones above, in the reverse of the unloading order.
- Road and unloading: boxes go room by room, then the big furniture.
- Reassembly and handover: beds and wardrobes rebuilt, then a quick check of the pieces with you before we leave.
Coordinate the building before the day
What delays flat moves most are small matters that can be settled earlier: does the building have a guard or management that needs notice of the moving date? Can the lift be reserved for a few hours? Where do neighbours park, and where can the truck stand without blocking the street? Ask the management or landlord early and tell us the answer so we can plan arrival. When handover coincides with a new lease

What does not go on the truck
Keep keys, official papers, medicine, jewellery, chargers and the bag you need on the first night. It helps to put everything you need the next morning into one box: coffee things, towels and basic dishes. See unpacking after moving.
