Scope of this page: departures from Al Nour in Dammam, inside the city or to another city. For the general service see movers in Dammam, and for a neighbouring district see movers in Al Hamra.
Moving from the district to another city
Many Dammam moves do not end in Dammam. You may be heading to Riyadh, Jeddah, Qassim or another city in the Eastern Province, and then the move splits into two parts: preparation and loading in the district, then the road and unloading at the destination. The first part matters most, because a mistake there shows up hundreds of kilometres later.
We agree the departure address with you, where the truck can stop and whether the lift reaches it, and then tie that to the arrival address. We do not claim to know every building in the district, so we ask for a map pin on WhatsApp.
Heavy pieces the day before loading
- Fridge: emptied and unplugged at least a day before, with the door left open to dry.
- Washer: hoses disconnected, water drained and moving parts secured.
- Ovens and kitchen appliances: cleaned and wrapped so they cannot shift inside the truck.
- Large wardrobes: emptied of heavy items and dismantled if they must pass narrower doors.
These appliances have their own page: moving household appliances.
A long trip needs different wrapping
What works for a move between two districts may not survive several hours on the road. Glass and mirrors go in separate covers and stand upright, heavy boxes sit at the bottom, and pieces are strapped. See furniture packing in Dammam and intercity movers in Saudi Arabia.
The destination question: who receives the load?
If you are moving to another city, ask whether someone will meet us on arrival, whether the building has entry rules and whether the lift is available. Each answer removes a surprise from a long day. Send them with the city and district so we can pick the right departure time.
If the new home is not ready
Your lease may end before the new home is ready. In that case the belongings can be stored temporarily until it is. Details are in furniture storage in Dammam.
Cost
It depends on the destination city, the distance, the size of the move, the floors, dismantling and wrapping. We do not give a figure before knowing the details, so send photos and both addresses and we will write what the estimate includes.
