Who this service is for
This page is for companies, contractors and service providers that run accommodation for workers or staff in the Eastern Province, especially in Jubail, Dammam, Khobar and Al Ahsa. Typical situations:
- A labor accommodation lease ends and the crew moves to another building.
- A project starts at a new site and part of the workforce and its furniture moves there.
- Several small housing units are consolidated into one larger building, or split up.
- Company-owned staff apartments (bachelor or family) need their furniture moved.
If you are moving an administrative office instead, see office movers in Jubail or office movers in Dammam.
What makes labor housing moves different
The furniture is repetitive and high in quantity: steel or wooden bunk beds, metal lockers, mattresses, dining tables and chairs, fridges and washing machines, and sometimes shared kitchen equipment. The challenge is not one valuable piece but volume and organization:
- Labeling: furniture is labeled by building and room so it can be laid out the same way, or according to the new floor plan.
- Dismantling: bunk beds and metal lockers are usually taken apart to save truck space, with bolts bagged and numbered.
- Mattresses: covered to keep them clean and dust-free during transport.
- Phases: large quantities are moved in batches so nobody is left without a bed on moving night.
Working around the shift schedule
What matters most to companies is that site work is not disrupted. We usually suggest that workers carry their personal belongings themselves, that we start on the furniture after they leave for work, and that the new accommodation is ready when they return. With day and night shifts, we plan batches around each shift.
Important: if the accommodation is inside a site that requires entry permits or safety requirements, the client arranges the permits and tells us the requirements before the date, and we follow them on site.
Within a city or between cities
We move labor accommodation within Jubail, Dammam, Khobar or Al Ahsa, between Eastern Province cities, and from the Eastern Province to any city in Saudi Arabia when a project or team relocates. For intercity moves see intercity movers; for moves within Jubail see local movers in Jubail.
What we do not do
We move, dismantle and reassemble furniture and appliances. We do not remove or install AC units, and we do not do plumbing, electrical work or cleaning. We also do not use external hoists. If the new building needs any of that work, it is best arranged with specialists before the move date.
Information we need to quote
- Current and new address, building type, floors and lifts.
- Approximate number of rooms, beds, lockers and mattresses.
- Appliances: fridges, washing machines, cookers, shared kitchen items.
- Full dismantling and reassembly, or transport only.
- Required date and whether the move can be done in phases.
The cost depends on quantity, distance, floors, number of phases and assembly. See our moving cost guide, and if there is a gap between the two buildings we can arrange temporary storage.
