Scope of this page: moves from Qatif to the Jazan region. From Khobar see Khobar to Jazan; from Jubail, Jubail to Jazan; and for moves inside Qatif, local movers in Qatif.
From Qatif to the far south-west
The road from Qatif to Jazan is over seventeen hundred kilometres, one of the longest moves in the Kingdom, so it cannot be done in a day. We plan a stop for the driver and agree an approximate arrival window. The figure is only to help you picture the trip; the price is built on the details of your move.
The Jazan region includes different towns such as Jazan, Sabya, Abu Arish and Samtah, so our first question is exactly where.
Loading in Qatif
Qatif has old neighbourhoods with narrow lanes and tightly packed houses, and newer ones with wide streets, villas and flats. The difference matters because a large truck may not reach an old house’s door, so the crew carries items a short distance to the truck. For Tarut, see movers in Tarut.
We take apart beds and wardrobes, number the parts, wrap appliances, mirrors and glass, and load with heavy items low. In old houses some large pieces that came in years ago will only leave through the door once dismantled.
Securing the load
Gaps are filled, long pieces strapped, glass kept apart, and official papers and valuables travel in your car. For large appliances see appliance moving.
Jazan: coast, mountains and towns
The south-west coast is mostly hot and humid, and some sites are in inland towns or on mountain roads with bends. Before arrival we need the town, a description of the road, entrance width, floor and lift. Because humidity can affect soft furnishings, we suggest drying them before wrapping and airing items on arrival.
Unloading and planning
We place items in the rooms you choose, rebuild what we dismantled and check the list. If the home is not ready, see furniture storage; for other destinations, intercity movers in Saudi Arabia.
