Scope of this page: moves from, to or within Tarout. For Qatif in general see [[/نقل-عفش-القطيف/]]. For moves inside the governorate see [[/نقل-عفش-داخل-القطيف/]]. For a neighbouring city see [[/نقل-عفش-سيهات/]].
Why does Tarout need its own loading plan?
Tarout is an old part of Qatif, with districts of narrow alleys and attached houses next to modern buildings and wider streets. That means a large truck may not reach the door of some homes, so we need a staged loading plan: carry items from the door to a point the truck can reach, sometimes using a smaller vehicle for that stretch.
We promise nothing before seeing the street, so we ask for a photo of the entrance or a map location.
Old and modern homes
Older houses may have narrower doors and steep stairs, so we measure doors before deciding what gets dismantled. See [[/نقل-عفش-البيوت-الشعبية-القديمة/]] for this type. Modern villas and flats follow the approach in [[/نقل-الشقق-والفلل/]].
What do we need to know?
- A photo of the street and entrance, or the map location.
- Door and stair width and the number of floors.
- Large pieces that may not fit, such as sofas and wardrobes.
- Destination: inside Tarout, Qatif or elsewhere.
- Your preferred date, and whether there is event traffic in the street that day.
Wrapping and protection
Narrow lanes mean more rubbing against walls, so we wrap pieces carefully. See [[/تغليف-العفش/]] and [[/حماية-الارضيات-والجدران-اثناء-النقل/]].
Where do we move from here?
We move from Tarout to Dammam, Khobar, Al Ahsa and the rest of the Kingdom. For some destinations see [[/نقل-عفش-القطيف-الاحساء/]] or [[/نقل-عفش-لجميع-أنحاء-المملكة/]].
