Movers from Qatif to Abha

Scope of this page: moves from Qatif and nearby areas to Abha and Khamis Mushait. For moves from Dammam see Dammam to Abha, from Al Ahsa see Al Ahsa to Abha, and for Qatif itself see movers in Qatif.

We start in Qatif: how is your home loaded before the trip?

A long trip succeeds or stumbles at loading. Before we head south we ask what kind of home you have in Qatif: a two-storey house, a flat in a block, or a house on a narrow lane. That decides where the truck stands, how many workers we need and whether large pieces are dismantled inside before they leave. We do not claim to know every lane in the city; we rely on the photos of the entrance and street that you send.

The road towards Asir

The distance from Qatif to Abha is more than a thousand kilometres, and along it you move from a coastal plain to mountainous country. We do not promise a duration before the survey because it changes with the load, the stops and the weather. On arrival, the road to some districts or villages in Abha and Khamis Mushait may be narrower or steeper, so we ask for the exact address and tell you if it needs a special unloading plan.

What we need to know

• The type of your current home in Qatif, the width of the street, and whether the truck can get close.
• The address in Abha, Khamis Mushait or the surrounding villages, and the type of building.
• Whether either location has an elevator.
• Large pieces that cannot be dismantled, such as sofas or solid cabinets.
• The key date, and whether you want temporary storage. See furniture storage.

Wrapping for a change of climate

The weather in Asir is usually cooler and more changeable than your belongings are used to on the coast. Wrap upholstery, wood and electronics well, dry appliances before wrapping and keep liquids or anything that can leak out of the boxes. Our furniture packing in Qatif service can prepare the load before departure.

Unloading and assembly

We unload by the rooms you need first and reassemble beds and wardrobes on request. If you are comparing routes, see Qatif to Riyadh or intercity movers in Saudi Arabia.
