Why tower moves need a different plan
In residential towers — on the Khobar Corniche and in newer districts of Khobar and Dammam — agreeing a date with the movers is only half the job. There is a third party: building management. Most managements have written move rules to protect lifts, corridors and residents. Skip that step and you may find the service lift already booked, or be refused at the loading bay.
If your flat is in an ordinary building without management, see apartment movers in Khobar or apartment movers in Dammam.
What to arrange with tower management
- Move-out / move-in notice: many towers require advance notice with the move date.
- Service lift booking: usually a fixed window; resident lifts are often off-limits.
- Permitted hours: some towers block moves at peak times or late at night.
- Company and crew details: security may ask for names or the vehicle plate.
- Damage undertaking: some managements may ask for a signed undertaking or deposit — ask early.
Tip: get the rules in writing from management and forward them to us. We size the crew and arrival time around your lift window, not the other way round.
Service lifts and furniture size
Even service lifts have limits. Long sofas, big wardrobes, king mattresses and dining tables may not fit as they are. We dismantle what needs dismantling inside the flat before reaching the lift, and line the lift walls and floor. For very heavy pieces that cannot be taken apart, we agree the approach with you beforehand — we do not use external hoists or cranes.
Long corridors and marble floors
Tower corridors are long and often finished in marble or carpet. We lay floor protection along the carrying route, guard wall corners and door frames, and stage items near the lift without blocking residents.
Car park access and truck height
In some towers the loading area is in a basement with a low height limit that large trucks cannot enter. We then use a smaller vehicle or load from the ground-level entrance management allows. Tell us where moving vehicles normally stop at your tower.

Tower to tower, or tower to villa
A tower-to-tower move means coordinating two managements on the same day, so we pick a time that fits both bookings. Moving from a tower flat to a villa? See apartment to villa moves. Moving within the same building? See same-building moves. To protect glass and TVs, see furniture packing.
Request a quote for a tower move
Send the tower name or area, your floor and the service lift window, and we will plan the move around it.
