Scope of this page: moves from, to and inside Jubail Industrial City. For Jubail in general see movers in Jubail, for the Jubail Al Balad area see movers in Jubail Al Balad, and for relocating employees see job relocation moves.
Employee, family or contractor?
Moves in Jubail Industrial City differ by who is moving: a single employee with few pieces, a family with full furniture, or a contractor moving an office and light equipment. We start by asking which you are, to set the crew and the truck, and we ask what your employer covers, if anything.
Entry and permits
Entry to some areas and compounds may have rules set by whoever operates the place. We do not know each operator's rules, so ask your housing or workplace before the date:
- Is an entry permit needed for the truck or the crew?
- Are the driver's name, plate number and ID needed in advance?
- What entry hours are allowed for moving?
- Where may the truck stop to unload?
- Are there inspection steps that delay entry?
Send us the answers and we plan arrival around them. If a permit is delayed, it is better to postpone the date than to leave the truck waiting at the gate.
Work schedule and the move
Some staff work shifts and cannot attend loading or unloading. In that case someone else can receive the load, agreed with us, and we send them the arrival details. If you can, avoid moving on the last day of your lease; an extra day of flexibility spares you the pressure of the key and the handover.
What is usually moved
- Bedrooms, the kitchen and its appliances.
- Living-room and majlis furniture.
- Boxes of clothes and papers.
- A desk and light equipment if you run a business.
For small offices see office movers in Jubail.
Wrapping and reassembly
We wrap glass, mirrors and appliances, dismantle beds and wardrobes, number their parts and reassemble them at the destination. See furniture packing in Jubail and furniture assembly in Jubail.
Cost
It depends on the number of pieces, floors, lift, entry rules, distance, wrapping and dismantling. We do not give a figure before a survey. Send photos and both addresses on WhatsApp 0573505121 and we will write what the estimate includes.
