Cables and settings: the step most people skip
- Photograph the back of each device before unplugging.
- Put each cable and charger in its own bag labelled with the device name.
- Collect the bags in one clearly marked "office cables" box.
- Back up your files before the move.
We move the equipment and place it where you want; network, internet and device setup are done by you or an IT technician.
Papers and confidential files
- Files go in sealed, numbered boxes in the same order as the drawers.
- Highly confidential or official papers travel with you in your own car.
- Small portable safes are locked and travel with you if they hold valuables.

Types of home office we move
- A desk corner: desk, chair, a screen and small printer, usually moved with the rest of the home.
- A full office room: large desk, bookcase, shelves, filing cabinet and a guest chair, dismantled and labelled like a bedroom.
- A design or coding workstation: two or three screens, monitor arms, a powerful tower, speakers. Equipment packing is what matters most.
- A home business: small stock, packing supplies, storage racks and accounts. Boxed and numbered by content type so you can restart quickly.
- A small photo or streaming studio: lights, stands and backdrops; stands dismantled, lights wrapped and carried upright.
Office first at the new home
If your work cannot pause, ask us to load the home office last so it comes off first; we assemble the desk and chair and place screens and devices before other rooms.
